Kaylee Amo
Kaylee is a senior at SUNY Plattsburgh, majoring in Creative Writing. She is currently a writer for Her Campus. In her free time, she enjoys arts & crafts, traveling with friends, and photography.

Deshawn Barclay
Deshawn is a senior majoring in Creative Writing at SUNY Plattsburgh. In his free time, he enjoys music, drawing, watching Western and Eastern TV shows, movies, and video essays, and all things art. His favorite TV series is Mob Psycho 100,his favorite rewatchable movie is My Dinner With Andre, and his favorite book is Good-Bye, Eri. As a writer, he hopes to improve his voice, and understand and study the works of writers who made an impact on his life and development. He admires stories that speak on the human experience, and that utilize a particular artistic medium to effectively create a passionately human work.

Jonathan Joseph Chiarella
Jonathan grew up in the capital region of New York. He lived in South Korea for several years, and began his graduate studies there. His eye for social issues and the built environment guided his writing for the international community in Gwangju, Korea. Later, he completed a PhD in political science from the University of Florida. Now he seeks to train his editing skills on a variety of content while working at SUNY Plattsburgh. He enjoys getting around by foot and bike when he can, and obviously on foot when hiking the Adirondacks.

Teddy Defayette
Teddy is a senior Psychology major at SUNY Plattsburgh. His favorite literary genres are folk horror and historical fiction that focuses on antiquity. He enjoys being out in nature and spends as much time as he can soaking up the beauty of the Adirondacks. He spends most of his time listening to Florence + The Machine, going on adventures with his friends, and scouring the internet for niche folk horror novels.

Nate Finley
Nate is a senior at SUNY Plattsburgh, majoring in English Literature. His writing has appeared in North Star, SUNY Plattsburgh’s student-produced literary magazine, and hopes to continue writing for other publications. Nate is also a student of life who loves the outdoors and all forms of beauty—from hiking, poetry, stillness, March Madness, and too much more to name. He also enjoys making up any excuse to get a cup of coffee.

Joslyn Granville
Joslyn is a senior Creative Writing major at SUNY Plattsburgh. She enjoys rewatching shows and movies that bring her comfort. Interstellar is her favorite movie, and one that she rewatches a lot. In her free time, she likes to do crossword puzzles and watch women’s sports, mostly basketball.

Jelani is a junior at SUNY Plattsburgh, majoring in Creative Writing and minoring in Public Relations. He loves to read and write. In his spare time he likes to complete puzzles and go on walks.

Stella is a senior at SUNY Plattsburgh, majoring in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and minoring in Studio Art. She loves to read fiction and write short stories, and she appreciates the emotional power that is embedded in literature. In her free time, she enjoys painting, spending time with her cat, traveling with friends, and listening to music.

Julia is a junior Creative Writing major at SUNY Plattsburgh, where she also runs on the cross country and track team. She loves reading and writing of all kinds but has a particular interest in mystery, crime, and thriller literature. In her free time she enjoys hiking, painting, and rock climbing.

Isabella Rose-Shades
Isabella is a junior at SUNY Plattsburgh, majoring in Sociology and minoring in English. Isabella is from Saratoga Springs, New York, where she finds herself at the lake often. In her free time, she is on the executive board of her sorority, Theta Phi Alpha. She enjoys sour cream and onion dip, broccoli, thrillers, porch time with friends, and a good lake day.
