Meet Issue 18’s Editorial Assistants

  • Kora Austin

    Kora Austin is Co-Social Media Manager of Saranac Review 18. She is a senior at SUNY Plattsburgh, majoring in English Writing Arts, with a certificate in Professional Writing. She enjoys reading fiction, fantasy, horror, romance, and mystery.

  • Nina Serafini

    Nina Serafini is Co-Social Media Manager for Saranac Review 18. She is a senior at SUNY Plattsburgh, triple majoring in English Writing Arts, Language Arts, and Literature, and earning a certificate in Professional Writing. Recently, she has worked on SUNY Plattsburgh’s student-run literary magazine, North Star, as Editor-in-Chief, and previously as Composition Editor. She loves to read classics, mysteries/thrillers, and romance books. Following her graduation in the spring, Serafini will be attending Emerson College’s graduate program in publishing and writing.

  • Kattie Perez-Santos

    Kattie Perez-Santos is a third-year student at SUNY Plattsburgh, double majoring in English Writing Arts and Communication Studies, with a minor in Film. She loves to read fantasy, fiction, self-help, and graphic novels. She hopes to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

  • Amelia Stevens

    Amelia Stevens is a senior public relations major at SUNY Plattsburgh. She hopes to work in the publishing industry one day. Her favorite pastime is reading, and she tends to gravitate towards romance novels and autobiographies.

  • Lamar Childs

    Lamar Childs is a senior in Writing Arts at SUNY Plattsburgh. He enjoys reading and writing poetry, fiction, and non-fiction. He hopes to enter the writing world in some way.

  • Marie Folley

    Marie Folley is majoring in Creative Writing at SUNY Plattsburgh. She is a local to the Adirondack region, and she immensely enjoys reading fantasy, realistic fiction, poetry, and plays--especially those that include representation of diverse people, perspectives, and issues.

  • Cooper Cecot

    Cooper Cecot is a first-year Creative Writing major at SUNY Plattsburgh. He enjoys reading fiction.

  • Roisin Murray

    Roisin Murray is a junior Writing Arts major at SUNY Plattsburgh. She loves to read novels, her favorite being Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. Recently, she has been trying out writing poetry. After she graduates, she wants to go into publishing and/or editing.
